Looking at a pic that depicts one of my limits can be enticing...….

I think so. I can find (tasteful and classy) photos of people with wax hugely erotic even if we aren’t into candle play. I can find photos of women helplessly in bondage exciting even if I wouldn’t want to be at the receiving end (or tying up a fellow woman) x

An image has to have erotic limits, so that the limit between aroused and offended isn't crossed.

Sometimes an image will capture your imagination and you would allow it to happen for real with a trusted person, but on the understanding that you are at the boundary limit and the safe word is humming like a mantra in your head trying to find the mouth to exit ....... one wrong move and you'll be shouting at the top of your lungs.

Some things you can only try with someone you know won't exceed the limit.

i totally agree and it is how i have ended up overcoming previous limits.

one might even say this is the theory behind porn addiction supporters, so a slippery slope to walk indeed. They sell the each time more intense theory as reasons for the negative process. i cant speak to that, as images that excite me are still the same as images that previously excited me.

But i echo the other comments, i love to peek from semi-closed eyes on things i haven't done
